Year 1 visit to Macclesfield Heritage Centre

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 1 Year: 2017 - 2018

Year 1 went to Macclesfield Heritage Centre. We learnt about what life was like for children in Victorian times. We visited Mrs Brown's cottage to find out how the family lived. We visited Paradise Silk Mill and saw how the machinery worked. We learnt how to weave using paper and fabric.
