WW2 Trip to Stockport

Class: Year 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

We had a fantastic day at the Air Raid shelters and the Stockport Museum. The children had a guided tour of the shelters in the morning and spent the afternoon in the museum. During the afternoon the children tried on gas masks and held a variety of WW2 artefacts, they sorted waste materials with the cog group, learnt how to complete household jobs using items found in 1940s homes and sung many songs.
