Join our Recycle Week Initiative
This October, we're joining schools and organisations across the nation to celebrate Recycle Week!
We're excited to announce a special clothing and accessories recycling drive to help our planet, teach our children about sustainability and raise funds for our school.
Win-Win-Win!
Here's how you can get involved:
- Get your bag: Bags will be going home with your children very soon.
- Fill it up: Fill the bag with any unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, belts and other accessories in good condition.
- Bring it back: Return your filled bag to school between October 14th and 16th.
Can't fit everything in one bag? No problem! You can also bring in extra items using regular black bin bags.
Why is this important?
- Reduces waste: Keeps textiles out of landfills, giving them a new life. The textile industry produces around 92 million tons of waste each year. we are doing our best to improve that number.
- Supports our school: Funds raised will support the new stage and sound system for the school hall.
- Environmental education: Provides a valuable lesson for our children about responsible consumption and caring for our planet.
