Head Lice guidance

There have been cases of head lice in schools in Cheshire East. The link below provides the most up to date information and links to information on treatment and control. There is no requirement for children with head lice to be excluded from school. Treatment is simple and can be done in 10 to 30 minutes with a 'nit comb' on (ideally) wet hair with conditioner, repeated every few days for 2 weeks. Medicated shampoos and sprays are only recommended if wet combing hasn't been effective.
