Week 39 in Class Ra

Class: Reception Year: 2022 - 2023

The final week of Reception!!!

On Monday we visited our new Year 1 class and met our new teacher. On Monday afternoon we made cards for our buddies. We wanted to say thank you for all the help and support they have given us this year. Once we had made our cards and wished them luck for high school we delivered them to Year 6.

On Tuesday we went into the woodland area and played in the mud kitchens. In the afternoon we had our faces painted and played party games.

On Wednesday we decorated our own biscuits ready for a movie in the afternoon. The children did a fantastic job at covering their biscuits in icing and sprinkles.

On Thursday it was a last day and we had our whole school assembly. We performed our Superhero song with our masks that we had made. Everyone did a brilliant job at performing the actions and singing the lyrics. We had round of applause from the whole school and we were very proud. In the afternoon we played party games and won prizes. We played games outside and had a fantastic last afternoon in Reception. 

I will truly miss every child from Class Ra and I wish everyone the best of luck next year in Year 1! The class have worked so hard this year and put a smile on my face every single day! Thank you for all the kind gifts, cards and drawings from the children. I hope everyone has a lovely summer! All the best, Miss MacWilliam.
