Week 32 in Class R

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

This week in Reception, we have been reading 'Meerkat Mail', a story all about a meerkat who leaves home and writes lots of postcards. We've had lots of practice writing our own postcards and creating our own stamps, and have learnt all about the different animals that live in the desert. In Maths, we have been thinking carefully about how to move numbers along a track - playing games like Snakes & Ladders has been great for helping us with this! 

On Friday, we wore black and white for charity. We also had a lovely art afternoon, using pastels to create pictures of plants and flowers. We can name all the parts of a plant now! 

The Reception team wishes everyone a wonderful half term. We can't wait to hear what everyone has been up to on our first day back.
