Week 31 in Class R

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

This week, Reception have been exploring lots of different topics. In Maths, we have been consolidating our knowledge of doubles and odds and evens with lots of hands-on practice. In English, we have been reading 'Augustus and his Smile', a story about a tiger who rediscovers his smile. We have thought about what makes us happy, and how this can help us when we're feeling down. Our Year 6 buddies definitely help us feel better! To end the week, we have focussed on animals and their habitats, and what happens when the forests get cleared. We have thought about ways we can help the environment, and used our recycling to create 'upcycled' art collages.
