Week 28 In Class R

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

This week, Class R have been exploring all things Spring! We have explored our surroundings, looking for clues that Spring is here, created a special 'Seasons' dance in PE, and produced carefully crafted finger paintings of Spring trees. We have had so much fun playing with colours and different materials.

We have also been looking at doubles in Maths, as well as experimenting with capacity. Class R are becoming very confident mathematicians! We made predictions as to how much liquid different containers could hold, before getting a bit wet with some hands-on experimentation!

We have also been having lots of discussion about healthy eating. Healthy eating is strongly promoted in our EYFS classroom; I'd like to take this opportunity to remind our class that snacks for break times should consist of healthy foods, such as pieces of fruit or vegetable sticks.
