Christmas week in Class R

Class: Reception Year: 2023 - 2024

On Monday, we had our wonderful work assembly and showed the rest of the school our portraits that we drew earlier in the term. We also learnt We Wish You A Merry Christmas in Makaton.

On Wednesday, it was a very exciting day as we had our Christmas lunch in the hall with Christmas music. . It was very yummy, but Not many of us enjoyed the sprouts though! We also took part in our Christmas fun run!

On Thursday, it was party day and we had a special visit from Father Christmas and he even gave us all a little gift. In the afternoon, we had our Christmas party and played lots of games and ate our party food! We also had a whole school assembly and performed a song from our nativity performance to the rest of the school. 

Every child has gone home with a bag of Christmas treats and decorations that the children have made. We hope that you enjoy seeing all of their crafts. 

We will be restarting show and tell on the first week in January.

The children have worked so hard this term and have settled into school wonderfully! Well done Class R!
