Tour of Britain Cycling Event

As you may well be aware, Stage 3 of The Tour of Britain Cycle Race will come through Holmes Chapel, along the A50, on Tuesday, 6^th September at approximately 12.30pm.

We will be taking all our children to an agreed specific area, secured with pedestrian barriers, to watch the race (weather permitting of course). We leave school at approximately 11.45am. The event will last approximately half an hour and we anticipate returning to school at approximately 1.30pm for a late packed lunch.

Please send you child to school with an appropriate, substantial snack that morning as we will have lunch on our return at 1.30pm. You are welcome to provide a packed lunch for your child that day. However, if you would like school to provide the packed lunch it MUST be ordered before the end of this term.

Parent help will be very much appreciated on the day, to accompany us.
